Na wah o! Osun State workers don finally resume work after 11 months of strike! E be like say na heavy wahala wey dey face dem as dem come back to office.
Dem local government wokers wey dey under NULGE (Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees) don dey chill for house since February last year! But dis January 5, 2026, dem don carry body return to work. Omo, as dem show face, heavy security don follow dem dey everywhere, as police dey patrol like say na war front wey dey happen.
But hold on! Some palava just dey happen as Rep member Bamidele Salam don come out dey vex for wetin happen to one worker wey dem name Taiwo Adebayo. As per the gist, dem catch am as e dey waka with files wey no suppose follow am comot for office! Na wah! Salam no gree keep silent; e don demand make IGP Kayode Egbetokun respond quick-quick before matter go pass power.
The APC people no dey sleep too; dem don accuse Osun government of creating wahala intentionally. Tajudeen Lawal, wey be APC chairman, don talk say dem dey use court matter to fight dem. According to am, one court don already judge on wetin dey happen, but the state government no wan accept am and na im cause all dis confusion.
Ogbonge security dey everywhere as dem enter office, but no be everybody dey happy about the situation. Osun NULGE Chairman, Dr Kehinde Ogungbangbe, don sidon talk say e no happy with police matter. E claim say police allow APC chairmen enter office even after dem don warn say make dem no show face.
Church people sef no wan dull; dem gather dey pray for Governor Adeleke ahead of di August 2026 election. Dem talk say Adeleke dey do well, and dem go support am to make sure say e win again. I no go lie, prayer no go kill anybody!
But the truth be say, many workers dey fear to talk to media people. When dem waka come back to work, dem resemble quiet mice; police dey dey check everybody wey wan enter. Na only few workers show face, and dem no gree yarn about wetin dem don experience for dem long stay for house.
As the drama dey unfold, NULGE don talk say dem go protest if police no stop de harassment wey dey happen for local councils. E dey clear say dis wahala no go finish soon, as di fight between APC and PDP for control of local government dey continue. Many people don die for dis fight, and Remi Abbas, one of the APC chairmen, na one of dem.
The PDP sef don dey throw jabs, dey accuse APC of using police to oppress dia members and dem no go take am lightly. Dem dey call for accountability as dis local government saga dey carry wahala go different levels.
Na so di story be for Osun State, my people! E never clear who go win dis battle, but as e dey go, all eyes go dey watch how e go unfold.
