PDP dey call for release of Ambrose Alli University protesters

My people, wetin dey happen for Edo State no be small thing o! Na now PDP don open mouth talk say make dem release all those students wey dem carry go prison after the recent protest for Ekpoma. Dem say the state’s government no dey handle security matter well at all.

As e be, the protest wey start as peaceful one turn violent after some hoodlums come hijack am. Na there wahala begin o, as dem carry attacker enter market for the area. People dey fear, as dem dey complain say kidnappers don turn Ekpoma to their playground.

PDP Publicity Secretary, Dan Osa-Ogbegie, don drop statement wey clearly show say dem no happy at all with how Governor Monday Okpebholo and him APC government dey behave against the people. Dem accuse the government of no getting any proper security strategy at all, instead, dem dey unleash heavy hand on students wey just dey fight for wetin concern dem.

PDP talk say dem dey fight against all form of violence, and dem no gree make the government use ‘big man’ power to oppress peaceful protesters. Dem go further talk say, ‘as e be, if the government dey fear accountability, na so dem go dey criminalize peaceful protests.’ E no make sense at all!

The party don stand strong with the students and the community wey dey suffer under present insecurity. Dem don demand say make all the students wey dem arrest—over 52 of dem—comot from prison without any delay. dem say this kind detention dey show the government no get respect for human rights.

As we dey gather gist for corner, we hear say one person don even collect bullet from soldier during the skirmish, and military don dey investigate wetin really happen. This matter dey heavy for ground, as Ekpoma dey face serious crisis. Na only God know wetin go happen next!

Now, wetin be the solution? Make everybody dey shine eye, as insecurity dey rise and the government no seem to action wey fit protect the common man!
