Jide Aina, wey be the General Manager for Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency (KWEPA), don carry mouth talk this matter as im join clean-up effort for Ilorin Airport Road. The guy no hide im mind at all, as im dey vex say the place don turn illegal dump site! E be like say some pipo don forget say wetin dem dey do na environmental abuse.

Despite all the efforts wey the government don put, like four big Roro bins wey dem bring for the area, some residents still dey drop rubbish for road! Jide Aina talk am clear say, “Dis one no good at all! You no dey respect wetin we dey do to keep our environment clean.”

And no be only dumping them sabi, dem dey burn waste for open too! Abeg, no be wahala dem wan cause? Dem don talk say open burning dey pose serious health risks wey fit go high pass your backyard.

Aina come give dem warning, if dem catch you wey dey violate environmental law, dem go arrest you and you go fit chop court matter. E don clear say Naija no dey play with illegal dumping again. Dem dey monitor everywhere wey get issues so dem go catch anybody wey wan do anyhow.

Im come dey urge every resident to shake body join clean-up movement, as environmental cleanliness na collective work wey all of us gatz do together! “No be wahala, e go help public health and it go better for the community,” Aina talk.

The clean-up exercise don attract attention from big men for government too, including the Commissioner for Environment. Dis one dey show say state dey serious for maintaining better city wey dey friendly for the environment. Dem dey also emphasize say public help go always dey important for this kind movement, so we fit make our community cleaner for all.
