She talk say, “I no fit dey inside government and dey sue di government at di same time. E no dey make sense. I had powerful enemies wey see dis as chance to push me comot.” Di former minister add say di day wey she resign, she no just yan anyhow, she go meet President Buhari come explain wetin dey happen, and him gree tell her sey make she pursue her case. “He say, ‘To protect your name no be small matter, na wetin your pikin go inherit,’” Adeosun recount.
You fit remember say for July 2021, di court come clear am sey she no get any penalty for di NYSC matter because she no even dey Nigerian citizen when she graduate, and as she don turn 30. So dem no fit hold her for anything wey concern di NYSC, but di court no talk directly about di forged document wahala.
Now, Adeosun come dey focused on her charity work through her DashMe Stores wey she start in 2021. Di initiative don raise over N500 million for help orphanages and vulnerable communities across di country. She dey give back to society while she dey give hope to children wey dey face tough times.
She don open store for Lagos and Abuja, and her plan be to extend dis charity reach to more places like Abeokuta, Kano and Port Harcourt. Adeosun know sey children wey dey face their own wahala no need extra burden like landlord wey dey push dem for house. “Children’s lives dey tough already, no need make dem dey worry about quit notice,” she talk.
Apart from di charity matter, Adeosun dey tackle economic reforms talk, especially fuel subsidy and tax issues wey dey hold Nigeria back. She don talk say subsidy na serious burden wey dey drain di economy, and di government need to face am seriously. “E no good to dey pour money into fuel subsidy when e fit go for education, health, and infrastructure,” she emphasize.
As government dey try look for way to balance di economic wahala, Adeosun dey call for solution wey go last, no be just quick fixes. “You gatz get structural solutions, not just palliatives, to make policy changes easier,” she add.
