Omo, as 2025 dey waka go, e good make we sit down and think wetin God don do for us.

This year, I don travel pass wetin I expect, and the people wey I don meet, chai, na serious blessing be that! From taxi drivers wey dey carry me for city to missionaries wey dey hustle for mountain, I don see real Christians wey dey jostle for God’s work.

When I dey meditate, I dey remember all those wey I don connect with for airport, wey fit just be quick ‘hello’ but na divine meeting. E clear say God dey work, and him dey do am in him own style. My papa go always talk say, ‘Make you follow my footsteps,’ and truly, I don see how people dey trust God, dey surrender, and dey obey wetin dey call dem to do.

All the faithfuls wey I don see, from the small pikin to the old mama wey dey pray for peace, na them dey carry the light of Christ everywhere dem go. E sweet as I dey observe how everybody dey try fulfill wetin dem call the Great Commission.

As 2025 dey show face, I fit sabi say some people don get wahala for this year. But abeg, take time reflect: how God don help you this year? How your prayers don reach ground? Dey remember say, even those small things wey you think dey nothing, fit carry big significance for your life.

Before we enter 2026, I dey encourage everybody to just surrender all for Christ. My own prayer dey simple but deep: ‘Holy Trinity, today I dey give myself to you. I dey rest for your love and acceptance.’ E good to remember say God dey with you, and he dey ask you to trust am every hour.

No be only us we go pray for; we dey see as the whole world dey suffer. God don call us to fit help those wey dey face hardship and pain. Jesus no come for those wey dey okay, but na for those wey dey sick and need am pass.

As 2026 dey come, make we join our prayers together: ‘Heavenly Father, you wey dey look over all, restore peace for our land. Heal the sick, and bring hope to those wey don lose hope.’ Your people no go ignore the suffering; instead, make we dey filled with that compassion wey God get for us.

If you dey call yourself Christian, remember say you dey part of big family wey dey answer to Christ call. Everything wey we dey do, whether for house, workplace, or community, na for God’s glory.

As we dey enter new year, I dey believe say God get many answers to our prayers wey e dey prepare for us. Make we open our hearts to see him move as we dey remain faithful.

For 1 Corinthians 15:58, e talk say make we dey steadfast and continue the work wey God don give us. E go fit be hard sometimes, but when we reach heaven, we go sabi say everything don worth am.
