NARD Secretary-General, Dr. Shuaibu Ibrahim, don yan say dis matter dey serious as healthcare delivery fit jam big time if Government no gree implement wetin dem sign under di MoU for four weeks wey dem agree. Dem don show patience but as the matter be now, dem fit no take am easy again o!
Dem don remember sey dem suspend di first strike (TICS 1.0) after 29 days on top di MoU wey dem sign with di government. But as e be, dem no see any action from di Federal Ministry of Health to fulfill di agreement.
For di level wey we dey now, NARD don call on respected elders to bring dem voice come inside, to help talk to di government make dem take action before e turn to galala once more!
NARD don drop serious gist say dem dey overworked, dem dey under pressure, and dem morale don land for ground. If na wetin go happen, dia strike go scatter healthcare services across di land, and e go affect millions of patients wey dey depend on dem.
Di worry wey dey ground be say, dem don show serious patience, yet dem still dey wait without any meaningful reply from di government weh no come and dem don extend ultimatum like three times. Na wetin dem fit do again na to resume strike! Dis situation show sey di trust wey suppose dey between dem and di government don dey fade small.
NARD don remind di elders say, when dem talk, di government dey listen. So, dis na di time wey dem suppose knock di government head make dem take action sharp-sharp, or else we go enter another serious wahala wey fit spoil everywhere for health sector.
NARD don conclude say, dem dey beg and appeal to dem respected people to come and help before e turn to another kabukabu. Di future of our health system dey hang for balance, and everybody dey watch how dis matter go play out.
As we dey report dis gist now, di Federal Ministry of Health don silence, no response yet. Na wetin we go keep our eyes on. Time go tell wether dem go fix am or we go see another strike come happen.
