The National Judicial Council (NJC) come release statement for Abuja, say the integrity test na part of the new guidelines wey Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, don put for ground to make sure say no corrupt person go enter judicial position.

So, as the matter be, dem announce say 62 people pass Computer-Based Test (CBT), but when dem carry dem names go Federal Judicial Service Commission (FJSC) for integrity screening, 34 people come fall hand. E be like say dem get too many wahala in their character!

Wetin make am worse be say, some of these petitions wey come from public feedback allege say one of the nominees, one Chief Superintendent of Police, dey collect bribe! Na serious matter o! Dem talk say she no fit be judge because she don nah seriously compromised integrity.

Na January 13 and 14 2026, NJC go meet discuss what dem go do about the 28 nominees wey clear this integrity wahala. Dem go interview dem and see who fit hot ground for judge position.

One petition wey wey reach ground talk say this CSP no gree give bail until dem pay N1 million bribe to some proxy wey be her friend. Hmmm! Na so your integrity take waka!

Anyway, kudos to the judiciary wey dey try to restore public trust, because we sabi say integrity no be joke matter! Dem wan make sure say as dem dey select judges, na correct people go dey there, no matter where dem come from. Na true dem dey talk say “corruption no go dey near judicial system” under Kekere-Ekun!
