Katsina Government Don Recover 30,000 Hectares Land with World Bank Help

Wetin dey happen, my people? Na Katsina State government just release am big time after dem don recover 30,000 hectares of land wey don dey suffer for long!

Naija’s own Gov. Dikko Radda come announce this news on December 24, 2025, for Katsina town sake wey World Bank dey support this project wey dem dey call Agro-Climate Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL). Dem don use this project help over 2.5 million people, and e no be small thing o!

Radda talk say, dem do many things to make sure the people fit live better. Dem buy tractors, waste disposal equipment, and even energy-efficient stoves wey go make life easier especially for our mothers dem! Who no like better life, abeg?

He also talk say dem don put infrastructure like Katsina town stormwater management and flood control for Jibia river bank. Me I dey tell you, this dem project go change plenty things for ground and fit help us stop flood wahala!

Mr. Yushau El-Sunais-Sani, wey be the Programme Coordinator, come talk say dem don distribute over three million tree seedlings for every corner of the state. I dey talk tree seedlings, o! Dem go make everywhere green again. Na so we go fit stop desertification and have better air to breathe.

As for waste disposal, Alhaji Hamza Sule-Faskari, wey be the Commissioner of Environment come talk say dem equipment go change sanitation game for Katsina. No be to carry waste dey throwaway anywhere, na to manage am well. E get as you go arrange life, sha!

Radda praise World Bank for their support and say na so dem fit build better future for Katsina and the whole Nigeria, because no be only food security dem dey look, but also environmental matters. Na joint effort we need pass anything!
