For the event wey happen for Katsina, the Governor tok say him no go allow any pikin wey sabi book suffer from financial wahala. Him don pump over ₦2.6 billion into scholarships and bursaries wey don touch thousands of students, both for inside Naija and abroad.
“When we take over this office, na serious promise wey we make say no pikin for Katsina go dey denied education because of money. Today, we dey thank Allah say we don dey fulfill that promise with all our heart,” Radda talk like person wey get big plans for di state.
Him add say dem don even start Academic Excellence Award to celebrate de students wey dey shine for their studies. Many of dem don become First-Class graduates wey don secure jobs. Na wetin we sabi dey call progress!
Radda no stop there; him dey proud as he yan say pikin from all di 34 local government areas for Katsina dey study things like Artificial Intelligence, Bioengineering, and Medicine for outside Nigeria. E be like say dem dey build strong army of graduates wey go make Katsina shine for global stage.
“Dis na strategic investment for health, technology, and innovation. When dem come back, dem go fit strengthen our institutions and make sure say we dey compete with di best! Katsina go no dey common again!” Radda don talk am well well.
As part of di gist, him also don launch new facilities for di Scholarship Board so everything go dey operate smooth-smooth. Nigerian students no go dey suffer again for funding, as di governor don promise to establish Scholarship Trust Fund wey go go well beyond wetin him dey do now.
Na Aminu Salisu-Tsauri, di Executive Secretary of di Katsina State Scholarship Board wey come give updates, talk say ₦677.57 million don dey set aside for di 2024/2025 academic session. Before dis, dem don chop plenty money for different sessions wey help many students.
He talk say over ₦200 million na for medical students, while over ₦300 million don go help students for Naija and even those wey dey abroad! No be small operation o, as dem dey even support out-of-school children with books and uniforms. Dem dey take care of our future!
The executive secretary gree appreciate Radda for increasing di Board’s budget from ₦500 million to ₦1 billion, and now reach ₦9 billion by 2026. Na serious matter o!
So, as Katsina dey push for better education, we dey hopeful say dem go continue to lift di state and its people. E fit be introduction of new facilities like Computer-Based Test Centre go help students too. Na so e be!
