Now, dis Saturday, more than 8.7 million voters don dey ready to cast dem votes for di 255 seats wey dey up for grab. Di main contenders na di ruling RHDP and di PDCI-RDA wey be di main opposition. E be like say na two-horse race as di African People’s Party (PPA-CI) wey Gbagbo dey represent don waka come outside, dey boycott di election because dem no gree run due to di wahala wey dem talk say dey dey happen.
Polling stations open for 8 am, but for Abidjan, some of dem start late due to di heavy rain wey come scatter dem plans. E no wan be pain say rain dey follow voters wey won perform dem civic duty! Voters dey line up, dey wait for dia turn, even as security personnel dey check everybody well well.
