For am, na just American consumerism wey dey make person spend money anyhow. But him ex-wife Clarissa, na gift-giving champion! Una fit imagine two of dem dey try manage Christmas? After dem divorce, wahala no stop. Dem still get pikin together, and every year Christmas dey waka come. Bill kon gather brain come up with this idea wey dem dey call Christmas Box. E no too serious, na small chop idea wey fit catch laugh and still make family no vex. Dem just dey go shop, find correct items wey cost less than $5, fit useful or totally useless, no be like magnifying glass wey na empty box for house. Simple!

First year e bring the box, everybody dey look Bill like him don craze, but as dem hear the plan, dem just dey follow him dey play along. Na so dem take the box serious. Even Clarissa join dey select items! From two, three, to many pikin dey come for Christmas, this tradition dey grow like weed!

Last Christmas, family members scatter come out! About 20 people sit down for living room like na location for blockbuster movie. Each person go pick item from the box until everybody don pick three. Na so everybody dey show their true colours, dey choose gifts ranging from toothpaste, superhero band-aids, to even tin of sardines. Nobody fit resist this kind package! It dey sweet as dem dey pick item wey all fit different likeys!

Fastforward to 2025, Bill dey watch news wey no too fine kon dey feel somehow about the whole Christmas Box idea. E feel say wahala don dey for US economy and Christmas jollification na just front to cover the matter. He tell him family say him no wan bring the box this year o, say e fit no make sense again. But una know as family matter be now, dem not gree make am spoil!

His daughter chop him ‘advice’ sey, “Dad, everybody wan dey do the tradition, make we run am again this year.” Bill dey think, “Okay now, if na wetin dem want, we go do am! At least one more time make we see how e go be.”
