My people, wetin dey happen for Kano na serious matter! E be like say Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf don waka come sign new chapter for our security matter. Dem don launch Neighbourhood Watch wey fit help tackle the wahala wey bandits dey cause for the state.
As dem gather for Sani Abacha Stadium, 2,000 sharp guys and babes don pass-out with correct spirit to secure their communities. Governor Yusuf talk say this na no be wahala for people wey no fit find work, but chance to make money and also protect their community. Na better move!
The Governor talk say e no go fit fight insecurity alone, na why e don talk about the need to join hand with the police and other security bodies. Dem need to work together like best friends to ensure say security go dey inside Kano. E say dem go dive into border operations too, because bandits dey carry wahala waka enter from other states.
Na so the Governor dey inspire these youths by saying, ‘An idle mind dey vulnerable.’ E make dem understand say their new job no be just for security but to build career, become role models, and bring better opportunities for their own community.
And no be lie o! Dem don drop 88 Hilux trucks plus 440 motorcycles for the operation to make this work beta, so the recruits no go dey waka leg everywhere. The Governor don promise say dem go sabi security work well and sabi how to gather intelligence too. Na wetin we want!
Even other big ogas for government like the Governor of Katsina, Dikko Umar Radda, gree say this initiative go help bring peace. Meanwhile, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, don talk say community engagement na key to solving this wahala. E even dey call for collaboration among traditional rulers.
So, my people, make we give kudos to Governor Yusuf and these 2,000 new recruits wey don step up. Na so we dey build better community wey no go get wahala again!
