According to am, di current Chairman of EFCC, Olanipekun Olukoyede, get grudge against am from di time wen e bin dey for di office as Attorney General. Dem don even investigate Olukoyede before, wey make Malami believe say na retaliation dis current detention dey for ground.

When e talk through im media aide, Malami yarn say EFCC go need to allow am go or hurry up make dem carry am go court within 24 hours. E don raise alarm about di ways dem dey construct di case against him, talk say na witch-hunt matter! Meanwhile, di EFCC dey insist say dem get valid reasons to hold am, claiming say e no meet di bail conditions when dem first invite am.
