Governor Sanwo-Olu come yarn say dis Eyo Festival no go just showcase Lagos as Naija’s economic and commercial heart, e go show how rich our culture and tourism be. E talk say culture na wetin give us identity, and if we lose am, we fit lose our way.

This year, dem go honour plenty big men wey don contribute to Lagos and Naija development. People like late Chief Abibat Mogaji, wey be the former Iyaloja-General and mama to President Bola Tinubu; Mobolaji Johnson, wey be Lagos first military governor; Alhaji Lateef Jakande, our first civilian governor; plus Sir Michael Otedola of Third Republic, no fit forget dem!
