This yuletide season, one NGO wey dem dey call Cares Global Network don dey shine light for the less privileged for Arepo, Ogun State! Dem don launch one outreach wey dem sabi as ‘Anne Cares’. Wetin be the plan? Na to provide essential care and support for children wey no get home! E no easy o!
This outreach dey happen for under the bridge where plenty children dey live, as dem go gather plenty volunteers from Graceful Women Ministry, Prayer Channel for Nigeria, and other kind-hearted people. Dem go dey give free haircuts and stylish hairstyles for boys and girls wey dey there. Now, no more shaggy hair for those pikin dem, abeg! Na so e be.
Dr. Omolola Omoteso, the team lead wey don dey carry this matter for head since seven years ago, come talk say dem go also distribute hygiene kits. Inside the kits, pikin go find combs, hair cream, and all the nice things wey go help dem shine. Plus, dem go chop nutritious meals, snap photos for memory, and even get counselling wey go boost their self-esteem. Na beta package, no be small!
Dr. Omoteso yan say, ‘We believe say every child deserve to feel valued and loved.’ Na she eye see as these children dey suffer, and her heart no fit carry am, na why she start this project. Dem no just dey distribute tinz; dem dey show love of Jesus Christ to those children and their parents. Na so dem fit feel better love, compassion, and care, no wahala!
She come talk say before, dem dey give old things, but Holy Spirit don show dem say make dem dey give brand new things. This one go help change the narrative and show say we care. Dem no go dey wait for government welfare, we go take action instead!
Cares Global Network dey work together with Ibiyemi Foundation for Education and Walk With Widows Initiative to make this mission possible. This outreach go happen next Monday, and Dr. Omolola dey urge everybody wey fit, make dem join hand to support these children wey need help. No let that small kindness pass you by, my people!
