My people, you sabi wetin dey happen for Ogun State? E be like say wahala don land for environmental consultancy firms wey dey do work for ULAB recycling. Three of dem don receive suspension from the Ogun State government as dem no do am well at all!
The Commissioner for Environment, Ola Oresanya, na him announce the suspension for one big review meeting wey dem hold for Ministry of Environment. E talk say dem carry these firms go through process audit, and e clear say dem no do wetin dem suppose do regarding acid battery pollution.
The firms wey dem suspend be Vyne Nurt Limited, Core Environmental Services Limited, and Saag Chemicals Nigeria Limited. Dis firms dey linked to closed Used Lead Acid Battery recycling companies wey don turn wahala for Ogijo area. Na only God go save us from all dis environmental issues wey dem dey cause!
According to the commissioner, the audit show say dem no install the pollution abatement devices wey dem suppose install. This na pure negligence, my people! Dem fit make report but dem no give the correct info to the government. Wetin dey happen, abi dem wan show professional negligence?
Oresanya talk say during the review, dem invite five consultancy firms make dem defend wetin dem do. Omo, two firms try talk and even though no be complete satisfaction, at least dem get chance to explain. But the three firms wey dem suspend, dem no even show face for meeting! E be like say dem know say dem dey in hot soup!
As e be now, Ogun State government don put dem on hold from any environmental consultancy work until dem fit prove say dem no follow wahala. No be small matter o! Even the Federal Ministry of Environment and NESREA don hear the gist, and dem don dey watch plenty moves wey dey happen!
So my people, make we dey watch as dis matter unfold. Environmental safety no be joke, and e get as e dey affect our lives. Hope say dis case go serve as warning to anybody wey dey take environmental issues lightly. Make dem do the right thing! Stay tuned for more gist!
