According to the court report, Zambada’s attorney, Frank Pérez, don cry out say e need more time to gather information wey relate to the ‘violence and instability’ wey dey happen for Mexico (no be small wahala). Dem say logistical difficulties don hold dem back from arranging correct discussions, getting letters, and ensuring say witnesses and family members fit provide necessary background information. Na serious matter o!
The judge wey dey handle the case, Brian Cogan, don give order say Zambada’s defense go submit their documents before March 30, 2026, and the prosecution go respond by April 6.
