Among the people wey dem don catch, na former Commissioner for Security, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Umar; former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso; former Commissioner for Science and Technology, Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kofar Mata; former Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Adams Aliyu Kibiya; and Hon. Nasiru Sani Garo, wey be former Commissioner for Special Projects. Omo! No be small gbege.
The whole recovery gangan happen this Thursday morning for Kano, as di agency don kologe and trace these motors everywhere. We sabi say di Secretary to di Kano State Government don already drop letter to dem, but dem no wan listen. Na wetin make dem waka come out now, as dem no fit hold di motor wey no be their own.
Chairman of di Commission, Comrade Sa’idu Yahaya, wey lead di operation talk am well, say dem dey follow di law to protect public property. “Government assets no be personal property. Once person leave office, e supposed return all government motors and things wey dey for dem,” na wetin he talk during di exercise.
He come add say dem don try plenty different way to reach dem before di operation come happen, but dem just dey pretend like sey dem no see. “We give dem time to comply after di Secretary to di State Government write to dem. Unfortunately, dem no gree follow. We no fit just dey look, we gatz act according to di law,” he explain.
Comrade Yahaya also clear di air say dis operation no get anything to do with politics. “Dis one no be to follow anybody, na to protect di resources wey belong to di people of Kano State. We go continue to dey shine our eye for public properties, and anyoda person wey think say dem fit do anything wey no follow di law go hear am later,” he talk like serious person wey no wan hear any wahala.
The Commission don assure di public say dem dey very serious about integrity for public service, and dem emphasize say asset recovery na big part of di anti-corruption efforts. E be like say dem dey ready to catch any corrupt person wey wan try and chop our money.
