Senator Tinubu bin receive chieftaincy title of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua on Sunday during the celebration wey mark 10 years since Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, take crown. This event no be small, o! Many big people wey fit fill stadium show face including ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. You fit imagine how the place take shine?
As the wahala dey go on, Tinubu use the chance to thank Ooni, no forgeting to shout out to the people of Ile-Ife. She say, “Na today we go show how we go dey do am.” E be like she dey promise say prosperity dey come for everybody. But make we ask, wetin dey this prosperity equation wey she dey talk?
She continue say, “By 2026, Nigeria go don dey prosperous; we go dey lend to other nations. No be joke.” (I dey wonder if she don check her crystal ball o!)
Ooni Ogunwusi, wey be the main man for the event, contribute his own small small. He dey thank Oluremi for her support since him rise to the crown. Then come Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, wey also join to pray for long reign for Ooni, and ask for better guidance for leaders as dem dey steer Nigeria ship.
Governor Adeleke come join am fresh, tell everybody say Ooni don change the game for royalty and make Yoruba culture shine everywhere. Dem dey push for cultural capital for Ile-Ife level up. With 14 roads don finish and one flyover almost complete, e be like say them dey do big things!
