Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) don confirm say one tanker burst into flames under Otedola Bridge along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday afternoon, October 19.
LASEMA spokesperson Olawale Afolabi tell journalists say the agency receive distress report around 4:24pm and immediately deploy im Tiger team to the scene. For one short message wey e send to journalists, Afolabi talk say: “Tiger team en route to Otedola. Tanker on fire.”
Otedola Bridge area along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway don be black spot for tanker accidents before now. The narrow overpass and heavy fuel haulage traffic don make the place recurring site for fire-related emergencies.
