OM get two big absentees for training on Wednesday afternoon. Na the day before dem go face Olympiakos for Vélodrome. The session happun on Wednesday afternoon as dem prepare for the choc.
For Toulouse, Danish striker Casper Tengstedt don find him scoring boot again after more than six months without goal. Before the international break, e score two goals. Na him coach Jens Berthel Askou don coach am before, and e dey enjoy the moment.
The international break last three weeks. Dem prepare for trip to Monaco. Lately, dem train hard. Dem get some days rest to relax and enjoy small. Many of dia players dey national team, so dem no too full for training. Some young players join first-team training. E good well, e help create better link with academy.
Tengstedt score three goals in two matches before the break. The break cut him momentum small. E say yes, na good start for am. E score goals for the club and help team collect points. E feel nice. Sometimes you want continue the run and find rhythm. But na so e be. Normally dem get three international breaks, now e don reduce to two. Anyway, e allow dem work on some details. Dem prepare for Monaco and analyze last matches. Overall, e been a good period.
He don now score same number of goals like last season. As striker, confidence dey come back when you score. Last season, e no play plenty. Even when e play, e score some goals but e no enough to get more playing time. Now, e feel say club trust am. When you feel club trust, you want repay. Na exactly wetin e feel for Toulouse. E feel trust from teammates, coach, everybody. E sweet. E start well and e hope to continue.
That trust also show for him connection with Thomas Jorgensen, wey just get him first call-up for Denmark. Tengstedt say Thomas na very good player. But no be only Thomas. Dem get plenty good players for Toulouse. Sometimes e easier to build link, especially early, with guys wey speak same language. E don see Thomas play for Denmark, so e know him qualities. Dem suit am well. Thomas always dey look for assist and Tengstedt dey try make work easier for am by positioning for spaces or creating spaces. So far, dia understanding don good. E fit only improve from there.
E say e surprise small say Thomas no play more for Denmark because e dey good dynamic for Toulouse. But e think everybody dream na to play for national team. For him too. E hope say one day e go go there, but e think e depend on him performances for field.
On Jens Berthel Askou importance for him form, Tengstedt say finding confidence na exactly wetin e need when e arrive. E know Jens for long time, from when Jens be him coach for Denmark for AC Horsens. But to be honest, e surprise small by how Toulouse dey play football when e start watch some matches to analyze if e be good system. When e play under Jens for Denmark, style no be same as here. Now, dem play more, dem build from back to play good football. E suit am well. Dem train hard every day and work every detail to improve dia game. E think say na from there dem go progress as season dey go.
