Chevy Trax Refresh Finally Show Face as 2027 Model Dey Come

First-generation Chevy Trax no really make lasting impression. E be dowdy and lethargic. But second-generation Trax burst onto scene and instantly turn success. E sell more than 200,000 units in each of past two years. E even land spot on our 10Best award list for three years straight. Now Chevy look like e dey ready refreshed version, and spy photographer don catch 2027 Trax fully undisguised.

Di Trax updated design no wildly different, but di changes still notable enough to make refreshed model look significantly more modern.

Di chrome bar wey separate upper and lower grille elements don go. Di daytime running lights and thin grille trim now sit above slim piece of bodywork. Di daytime running lights themselves also look a bit sleeker.

Di main headlight units now arranged horizontally. Dem connect to wider hexagonal grille and vertical trim pieces.

For rear, di Trax get completely new taillights. Dem narrower and wider than before. One section dip down at outer edge, another section wrap around side of car. Di taillights look more like di units on Equinox and Traverse, and black trim now link dem. Di bumper also get tweak with boxier shape and horizontal reflectors.

Our spy photographers no capture di interior on this prototype. But previous images of more camouflaged units suggest some changes to di layout of di screens. We hope say Chevy still keep di ample physical buttons alongside di screens.

We no expect major changes under di hood. Di Trax likely to continue with 137-hp turbocharged 1.2-liter inline-three engine, six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.

Look for di refreshed Trax to officially debut within next couple of months and go on sale by early 2027.
