He talk say dis one dey affect revenue generation for di sector well well. Di commissioner talk say di engagement wey dem dey have today na first step for one three-stage process. He talk say di stages na identification, cooperation and enforcement, and enforcement go start next month.
Mr Olatunbosun urge all hospitality businesses make dem cooperate with goment and submit monthly figures of customers wey dey patronise dem. He add say di data go help populate records for Bureau of Statistics and also help security coordination across di state. He stress say when hospitality sector get proper documentation, e no go only boost di state internally generated revenue, e go also make am easier for security agencies to track movements and respond sharp sharp to incidents.
