OAKLAND — One 19-year-old Berkeley man dey held without bail after dem allege say he show up for him ex-girlfriend grandmother house and demand entry with threat, according to court records.
“Open the door, granny, or I will break the door down and hurt you,” the young man allegedly yell through one closed door on Hyde Street in Oakland.
He later add, “I am not pointing my gun at you, but if you do not let me in, things will get worse,” according to police.
The woman later tell police say the 19-year-old allegedly pull gun and point am at the door.
She open the door out of fear, and when he come inside, na there him alleged motive show, according to police.
He allegedly go for one closet and come out with a pair of sneakers.
As he waka off with the shoes, he get one final remark.
“Who do you think wears size 12 sneakers?” he allegedly say.
The man dem arrest one day later in San Francisco, based on the grandmother identification and one witness statement.
Now he dey face felony charges of burglary and criminal threats, court records show.
Dem file the charges on Aug. 10, and him preliminary hearing set for Sept. 23, court records show.
The charges include enhancements for allegedly targeting one “vulnerable” victim.
