Di Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) don post notice for applicants wey dey wait for recruitment shortlist. According to official statement, di release of shortlist wey dem postpone don get new update as Computer-Based Test (CBT) go start on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
For statement wey di Director of Human Resources, ACG Issaka Ahmed sign, NAQS tell applicants make dem go log-in to di official portal, recruitment.naqs.gov.ng, to check if dem progress to next stage. Dem say candidates wey make am go next stage go sit for CBT wey go happen online through same portal.
Di statement wey dem post on X handle @naqsng on Wednesday, August 18, 2026, also add say further scheduling details go reach applicants through dem registered email address. Di service urge all applicants make dem rely only on information wey dem share through official channels.
But as di announcement come out, plenty applicants don complain for social media. Many say dem portal still show ‘under review’ message, even as CBT don dey close. One applicant, @tomilashinde, write for X, and others like @excellentolale1 echo di same concern.
Some applicants don already dey suspect di process itself. @JusticeChigonum and @Solomon27297941 add dia own tori, while others report technical difficulties for portal. @IsaacAdeku68864 and @Adosa85865310 also call on agency to act as di time don reach.
Up to now, NAQS no don issue any follow-up response to di technical complaints wey applicants raise before di August 20 CBT start date.
Recall say earlier, Legit.ng report say NAQS postpone di release of shortlisted candidates wey bin due on August 13, 2026. NAQS say di delay na to make sure di process remain thorough, transparent, and accurate before any list dem publish.
