Naija Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) don officially open recruitment portal for qualified Nigerians wey dey find full-time job. Di agency, wey be Federal Government body wey dey protect Nigeria agricultural sector from pests, diseases, and contaminated products, announce say dem need workers for different positions.
For di Superintendent Cadre, NAQS dey recruit Chief Superintendent of Quarantine (CSQ) – CONMESS 2, wey be for Veterinary Doctors. Person wey wan apply must get first degree for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from recognised school, plus NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Dem also dey recruit Deputy Superintendent of Quarantine (DSQ) – CONRAISS 08 for candidates wey get qualification for Law or other relevant field. Applicants must get first degree for Law or Master’s degree for another field from recognised institution, plus NYSC certificate.
For Assistant Superintendent of Quarantine II (ASQ II) – CONRAISS 07, candidate must get minimum first degree from recognised school and NYSC discharge certificate. For Inspectorate Cadre, dem dey look for Inspector of Quarantine (IQ I–IQ III) – CONRAISS 05, wey require OND or NCE certificate.
Di agency still dey recruit Quarantine Assistant (QA I–QA III) – CONRAISS 04 under Assistant Cadre. For dis one, applicant must get SSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level certificate with five credits including English and Mathematics, wey dem pass for not more than two sittings.
NAQS don set some general requirements. Applicant must be Nigerian by birth, get National Identity Number (NIN), dey medically fit, pass drug test, and dey of good character with no criminal record.
