Man City reject Barcelona £55m bid for Rodri, talk still dey go

Manchester City don reject new £55m bid from Barcelona for Rodri. Last week, Barca bin don try with £40m offer, but City bin knock am back. Now dem come again with better money, but still no reach wetin City want.

Sky Sports News report say Barca expected to raise dia offer to between £50m and £60m. But even with £55m on table, City say no. The Premier League champions dey find upwards of £60m for the 30-year-old midfielder, wey don enter final year of im contract. Talks still dey on, both sides no don close door.

City no really want to sell Rodri. Dem prefer to sign new contract with the Spain World Cup-winning captain. But if Rodri imsef come out say he wan go, then City no go stand for im way. That na the inside story as e dey now.

Meanwhile, City don agree to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Al Qadsiah for around £51m. Reijnders join City from AC Milan last summer, but he wan move now. E go dey set for Saudi Pro League. This one mean say City fit lose two central midfielders, but dem also dey plan to sign two new ones. Dem get interest for Enzo Fernandez and Ayyoub Bouaddi.

For Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea don give City deadline of Friday 5pm to make £120m bid. Talks with Lille for Bouaddi also still dey go. Sky Sports News’ James Savundra talk say the Reijnders sale mean City dey bring in over £100m in sales this transfer window, adding James Trafford and Nathan Ake departures. So dem get better position to negotiate and spend.

If City fit sell Rodri for big money, say £70m, plus the £50m from Reijnders, dat go reach £120m — exactly wetin Chelsea want for Enzo. So the transfer window still hot, and Rodri future dey unclear.
