According to di Nigerian Army, di victims dem bin don kidnap on Sunday, 9 August 2026, when some armed men attack travellers for Ojuwo–Ajengo–Memarebo and Ojiwo–Itobe roads for Ofu Local Government Area for Kogi State.
After dem find out say di victims dey near Adumu town for Dekina Local Government Area, soldiers from 21 Battalion plus officers from NNS Lugard begin di rescue.
