SEC don start online registration for capital market operators

Di Securities and Exchange Commission don begin digital processing for selected registration services wey Capital Market Operators dey use. Na part of effort to speed up regulation and reduce paper work.

According to SEC, operators wey dey di current phase fit now do dia registration activities online. Dem no need to carry physical document go SEC office again.

Di new platform wey dem call e-Registration dey inside SEC ePortal. E go allow operators submit application, go through review, and receive decision all for online.

SEC say dis go reduce di delays wey dey come with paper documentation. E go make processing fast and give operators chance to monitor dia application progress.

But make una no mistake, dis first phase na only for existing Capital Market Operators wey want update dia registration. New operators wey never register for Nigeria market no dey included yet. SEC say dem go announce when new application go start.

Di Commission dey do di change for phases so dat transition go smooth. Dem urge all operators to familiarize with di platform and complete di requirements on time.
