World Cup quarter-finals: Raheem Sterling gives condition to rejoin the England team
Raheem Sterling
England striker Raheem Sterling will only rejoin the squad at the 2022 World Cup when the safety of his family is guaranteed.

Three Lions
Sterling’s Surrey mansion was attacked on Saturday night as he prepared for the Three Lions’ round of 16 clash with Senegal in Qatar.

Chelsea star Paige’s partner and their children were not home when the robbery took place.

The 27-year-old flew back to the UK on Sunday to be with his family after the harrowing incident.
After England
After England’s 3–0 win over Senegal, manager Gareth Southgate said Sterling will be given “as much time as he needs” before rejoining the team.
However, Sterling will prioritize the safety of his family before deciding whether to return to Qatar.
A source told The Sun: “Raheem has told everyone: ‘There’s no way I’m going anywhere unless I’m 100 per cent sure my family can be safe.'”
World Cup
England will face France in the World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
