Where will celebrities spend New Year’s Eve 2022?
For many, New Year’s Eve is best celebrated during the holidays, and the rich and famous are no exception.
Stars from all over the world have traveled to a host of glamorous locations to celebrate 2023, here are some of the celebrity favorites this year.
San Bartolome
St Barts has long been a favorite vacation spot for celebrities and royals alike, but this year attendance seems to have picked up.
LuisaViaRoma for Unicef Winter Gala 2022 took place on the Caribbean island and attracted big names including Taika Waititi, Rita Ora, Naomi Watts and Luke Evans. It’s unclear if everyone will stay for New Year’s Eve, but Lily Allen and her husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, have also been vacationing on the island in the final days of 2022.
Also seen this year were father-daughter acting duo Ethan and Maya Hawke, rappers Drake and Diddy, as well as model Izabel Goulart.

Singer Sam Smith is one of the stars who have traveled for the New Year’s Eve festivities. After spending Christmas in Thailand, Smith is in Australia, where they shared photos of yachts and were spotted in downtown Sydney. Before the new year, Smith posted a message to fans thanking them for supporting him in 2022.
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause posted photos in “sunny Australia” over the holidays and reunited with her co-star and ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim, who is also in town for New Year’s Eve.

Celebrities head to Aspen in droves each winter, and 2022 is hardly an expectation.
This year, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is in the famous ski town with his partner Lauren Sanchez.
The German model Heidi Klum has also been in Aspen with her husband Tom Kaulitz, who has received his first ski lessons at the prestigious resort.
British celebrities Abbey Clancy and Myleene Klass separately celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Maldives.
Klass has been in the country of the archipelago with his partner Simon Motson and their three children during Christmas. She has been posting regular updates about her three-year-old son Apollo swimming.
The Bahamas
Paris Hilton is among the stars who have celebrated the holidays in the Bahamas.
Hilton enjoyed Christmas on a yacht with husband Carter Reum and has stayed through New Year’s Eve, sharing a post wearing a butterfly cape taken at Harbor Island.
