Where Was “Triangle of Sadness” Filmed?
The film “Triangle of Sadness” follows the relationship of Carl and Yaya, who go on a luxury yacht for free as social media influencers, only to face a nightmare when the yacht is attacked by pirates and they end up on a deserted island.
The beach and island scenes of the film were shot on Chiliadou Beach, located on the Greek island of Evoia, while the town of Katakola was used for outdoor scenes of the cruise.
The yacht used in the film is actually the Christina O, famously used by Aristotle Onassis and Jackie O.
Filming for the movie was delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but finally wrapped up on Nov. 13th, 2020.
