Viewers Criticise Age Gap in New Jennifer Lawrence Film ‘No Hard Feelings’
The trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming film ‘No Hard Feelings’ has received backlash due to the significant age gap between the characters played by Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman.

In the film, Lawrence plays Maddie, a 32-year-old woman who is hired by two parents to seduce their 19-year-old son, Percy.

Maddie needs money to save her childhood home, and the initially awkward Percy provides to be not such an “easy catch.”

Many viewers have expressed their concern over the age gap between the two actors, deeming the premise “creepy.”
One Twitter user points out the inconsistencies in society’s reaction towards the film, asking if it would still be considered “funny” if the roles were reversed.
In other news, Lawrence recently spoke out about her experience being pressured to lose weight for her role in ‘The Hunger Games.’
She recalls that the biggest conversation pre-MeToo was, unsurprisingly, weight, and how much she was going to lose.
The expectations, she explains, were about how an action figure for children should look, and with so many opinions on the matter, she felt the pressure heavily.
