The Hammers signed the talented 25-year-old from Lyon in the summer transfer window for a club record £51m (Sky Sports).

West Ham did incredibly well to land Paquetá, and many of Europe’s top clubs were believed to be in the running for him at the time. Hammers fans were stunned when we won the race to sign him in the summer.

He played a crucial role during their win over South Korea yesterday. The 4-1 victory sparked wild celebrations in both Qatar and Brazil.
