As part of the Valentine’s Day celebrations, two Nollywood films “Dear Affy” and “Special Jollof” made their theatrical debuts.

The Nigeria News Agency (NAN) reports that romantic comedies are joining a league of foreign films and crossover holiday films aimed at Valentine’s audiences.

“Dear Affy” tells the story of a beautiful career woman who is about to marry the man of her dreams who is about to seal millions of naira in contract with a conglomerate in the industry. construction.

The film, directed by Samuel Olatunji and stars singer Teniola Apata, BBNaija’s Sir Dee, Kehinde Bankole, Enyinna Nwigwe and Bimbo Ademoye, among others.

NAN reports that “Special Jollof”, directed by Emem Isong, follows Rachel Hudson who lived life with a loving, successful and successful journalist fiancé.

Everything for her was perfect until a shocking discovery shattered her perfect life before her eyes, sparking a grudge against the immigrants she held responsible for her woes.

In revenge, Rachel is determined to denounce illegal immigrants and have them deported.
