Valencia faced off against Real Sociedad for a game in La Liga, with the former finally clinching a 1-0 victory at the end.


In the pre-match proceedings, the lineups of both teams were announced, with the players warming up for the game.

Early in the game, Valencia had a chance to score from a corner kick which was blocked.

There were several more chances for them, either missing the target or being saved by the goal-keeper.
Finally, In the 45th minute, there was an own goal by Society’s Igor Zubeldia and Valencia went ahead 1-0.
During the game, Gabriel Paulista and Giorgi Mamardashvili of Valencia and Carlos Fernandez and Mikel Oyarzabal of Real Sociedad were shown yellow cards.
The delay in the game was caused by the injury of Samuel Lino and Mikel Oyarzabal.
To adjust, Valencia made substitutions of Cenk Özkacar, Ilaix Moriba, Jesús Vázquez and Thierry Correia while Real Sociedad switched Asier Illarramendi, Carlos Fernández, Alex Sola and Aihen Muñoz.
In another instance, VAR Decision: No Penalty for Valencia was concluded.
In the end, Valencia was able to successfully defend their goal, not conceding to Real Sociedad’s several attempts at scoring the equaliser.
With the game ending 1-0, Valencia will be glad to secure the three points, leaving Real Sociedad to play catch up in the next game.
