Uzodimma appoints Onyegbule IBC DG

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of Ms. Ify Onyegbule as the Director General (DG) of Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC).
Chief Press Secretary
The appointment was contained in a statement issued, yesterday, by the Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the governor, Oguike Nwachuku.
James Egbuchulam
The Guardian learnt that the corporation had remained without a substantive DG since James Egbuchulam was suspended about a year ago.
Richard Nkwopara
Richard Nkwopara, a staff member of the outfit, until the appointment of Onyebule, had been acting as the DG.
Mass Communication
Onyegbule, a graduate of Mass Communication from Ogun State Polytechnic, had been a board member of the corporation since 2021.
