According to AFN head coach Seigha Porbeni, the two Americans are in Delta to partner with the Federation, led by Tonobok Okowa.

The AFN chief is also executive chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, as well as co-chairman of Delta.

Local Organizing Committee (LOC) 2022.

According to Porbeni, the two Americans are using the 2022 Delta National Sports Festival to identify talent, who will be awarded scholarships to study at Mississippi State University.

“This is a good development for the festival because any athlete discovered by these two American coaches will enjoy a better career in both education and athletics,” Porbeni said.

Delta State Athletic Association President Solomon Ogba, who was president of the AFN, welcomed the two American coaches to the state.

Ogba assured them of good hospitality and reassured them that they are at the right place at the right time.

AFN chief Okowa also welcomed the coaches and advised them to work closely with Federation technical director Samuel Onikeku and national head coach Porbeni for maximum results.
