Troops eliminate 20 terrorists in Borno

Joint Task Force Northeast Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) troops eliminated more than 20 Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) terrorists in Borno, according to the Nigerian military.

“The troops overtook the terrorists’ position with a volume of intense fire both from ground and from the air, killing more than 20 insurgents.

“The troops also captured weapons and heavy firearms, including three anti-aircraft guns, three AK 47 rifles and two gun trucks, in addition to two other gun trucks which were destroyed by the troops.” , did he declare.

Nwachukwu said the army chief of staff, Major General. Faruk Yahaya, congratulated the troops for the smooth running of the operation and urged them to support the ongoing offensive. (NOPE)
