Trekkers for snow, Everest blizzard dey cause wahala!

BEIJING, Oct 6 – Chale, trouble don land for trekkers wey waka pass Everest o! Hundreds of dem don stranded for heavy snow and blizzard wey cover the eastern face of Mount Everest for Tibet. Normally, no be wetin we go see this time of year, but this na 2023 wey different!

According to Chinese state media, more than 500 people enter wahala as heavy rain and snow begin show them pepper. Out of these trekkers, about 350 don waka come safe for the small township wey dem dey call Qudang. The remaining 200 plus trekkers still dey manage their levels as rescuers dey work hard to bring dem down.

“The weather this year na serious matter,” Chen talk. “Our guide say e never see this kind heavy snow for October before, e shock us.” The blizzard start on Friday evening and no stop until Saturday. Imagine, snow dey fall like say na celebration cake wey never finish!

Meanwhile, on the other side of Nepal, rain come dey cause landslides and so many people don die as rain dey wash away bridge. These na really trying times for travelers wey just want make they enjoy the beauty of the mountains and return home safe, no be high drama!

Eric Wen, another trekker wey manage escape the cold, talk say hypothermia catch three people for him group, even when dem dey wear warm jackets. “We only had a few tents. More than 10 of us dey inside one large tent and sleep no gree show face at all. Na every 10 minutes we go dey shovel snow to make sure say tent no collapse on top us,” he explain.

Local villagers come show strong support, adding their own strength to rescue operations wey already get many emergency services and rescue teams together. These villagers no just sit down dey wahala; them sabi the terrain well, dem even carry yak go help! Yes, you hear am right, niggas dey use yak, because yak fit help clear snowy paths and avoid chasms. No be small wahala!

As rescuers dey enjoy round one of their great escape strategy, the remaining trekkers go still dey come back in stages, but no be easy work o! People wey come from different parts come to see Everest dey now figure out how to go back home, and the weather no dey gree cooperate.

As the rescue operation dey go ahead, trekkers wey don struggled through snow be like mini celebrities for the village as dem enter Qudang town. Local people don prepare warm food for dem; chai and hot soup dey flow like river. Looks like villagers sabi better hospitality!
