Abuja, Nigeria – E no get as dem wan yarn this one. Early Tuesday morning, na so one passenger train wey dey travel from Abuja go Kaduna just decide to turn transformer, derailment style! Person wey dey there wahala, talk say e happen around 11 a.m. as dem just dey start the journey. The whole place turn mini pandemonium as people dey run like say dem dey chase them!
One eyewitness wey see the whole drama unfold talk say, “Na complete chaos! People wey dem gree say dem don survive dey run in different directions. E clear say no be small panic! We never fit confirm if everybody dey okay, but make we dey pray say everybody waka come out alive.” (People wey fit run fast go don reason say anywhere be make-we-no-die, abeg!)
Kayode Opeifa wey be Managing Director of Nigeria Railway Corporation don confirm say wahala dey for the train. Him talk am like say e no wan talk too much but rescue operation dey happen as we dey gist. “I no wan talk plenty for now, but the incident don clear and rescue operation dey on as we dey yarn,” he yarn. Na only die-hard operatives dey catch time to dey investigate wetin cause the train wahala.
As e be now, nobody don report say people don die. But people come dey reason say this Kaduna-Abuja rail line take plenty passengers everyday. Last time wey dem jam security wahala, na very serious matter wey leave plenty people for ground. So the anxiety no dey far from the passengers’ mind, as dem dey fear bandits wan come disturb dem.
A lot of passengers dey give thanks as their lives no spoil, despite the gory scene wey dem see as they scatter come out of the train. But e still dey vex say last time dem near disaster like this, terrorist dey ground dey wait for people wey no sabi wetin dey happen! (Trains and terrorists – na who go fear pass?)
Oh boy! The vibes for that train go dey “dodge your enemy” as people dey waka around. Troops of security agents and rescue crews don show for the area now, but people go fit sleep small time before better news fit land. For now, everybody dey play the waiting game as dem dey pray dem no go turn ghost for train matter!
