First on di list, we get General Olufemi Oluyede, as im don collect di new title of Chief of Defence Staff, after General Christopher Musa pack him load comot. Na serious case, but wetin dem go talk? Life no dey easy for any of dem!
Also, Major-General W. Shaibu don take over as Chief of Army Staff, and e no fit forget Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke, wey go handle di air matter as Chief of Air Staff. No be say small wahala go dey! Rear Admiral I. Abbas dey ready for another round as Chief of Naval Staff. As for Major-General E.A.P. Undiendeye, di man dey carry his position as Chief of Defence Intelligence with ogbonge style.
Dis reshuffle dey come as Nigeria dey face serious security wahala. From Islamist insurgents to armed bandits and even some obodo boys wey dey use separatist matter to cause gbege, dis military change no fit comot from di table. Tinubu dey try set dem straight. As dem say, where there’s smoke, there must be fire, and Nigeria no wan burn down!
For di statement wey Tinubu release, e talk say, “Di changes go take immediate effect,” meaning say no time to waste! E follow up with appreciation for di outgoing service chiefs, wey don show dedication and service. Na im wey dey beat di drum before, but come now, e don pass di baton! Who go chop di rice and beans wey dem prepare?
“Make di new guys ensure say dem dey professional, dey vigilant, and dey represent togetherness for di armed forces. Dis na wetin go keep dem in check,” di president yarn. E be like say, Tinubu believe say dem fit hold ‘im expectations.
