Tim Ream, of Fulham FC and the United States men’s national team, recently reflected fondly on the team’s performance at the World Cup. Ream, who starred for the USMNT in Qatar, was lauded by his Fulham teammates upon his return.

The 35-year-old center-back had Antonee Robinson as a teammate on the USMNT, so the club was well aware of their team’s success.

Ream spoke of the positive response he received from the dressing room, saying they were taken aback with how well the USMNT performed.

He commented that despite the USMNT not progressing as far as they had hoped, the team’s goal was to representing the country and help people understand the quality of the players they had.

Before the tournament, Ream was uncertain on whether or not to accept the USMNT invitation due to a delay in his inclusion in qualifying action.

He has since come to be grateful for the opportunity he was given.

After a stunning victory against Leeds United in a USMNT showcase, Fulham’s next match will be against Brentford on Monday.

Supporters of the team will be hoping for another impressive performance from the team.
