Revered as the Master, for his comprehensive appreciation and mastery of all departments in the sports sector, Obi, President of AIPS Africa and Vice President of AIPS (International Sports Press Association), is being awarded an honorary doctorate by St. Louis African University, a privately owned institution, in the Republic of Benin.

The award is part of the University’s 2022 program to honor distinguished Africans who have excelled in various fields and with the aim of fostering greater excellence and recognizing outstanding contributions in academic, business, political, social, religious and academic advancement.
