Terrorist Dem Don Attack Church for Eruku, Kwara State

Ilorin, Kwara State — As e be so, wahala don burst for Eruku town as gunmen wey no get heart attack Christ Apostolic Church around 6pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Na wetin we fit gather from police statements and eyewitness observations be say, these bandits no come play, dem come ready for yawa.

The Kwara State Police Command confirm say dem try to stop the attack quick-quick. SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi na the Police Public Relations Officer wey drop the gist. E talk say the Divisional Police Officer for Eruku and im team of police operatives, plus local vigilantes, rush go the scene after dem hear gunshots. As dem reach, na so wahala dem go see, the hoodlums don run enter bush. (Na dis kind escape wey we dey use for Naija.)

Unfortunately, the bad news wey reach us be say two people die that night. One victim dey among the congregation; Mr. Aderemi, fatally shot inside the church. Another victim, Mr. Tunde Asaba Ajayi, was spotted for bush. Plus, one vigilante guy, Segun Alaja, collect gunshot but dem rush am go ECWA Hospital for treatment. CP Adekimi Ojo, the Commissioner of Police, don commend the quick response of the police and vigilantes. E reassure people say dem go do everything wey dey possible to catch these bandits. “We no go rest until we finish dem,” na wetin im talk. As e be so, many residents dey fear as dem no know wetin go happen next. (Wetin dem expect? Naija no dey sleep o!)

Eyewitness wey identify as Mr. Ayo talk to Daily Trust say the attack enter dem place just during church meeting. E say, “Dem come in suddenly and start to fire at congregation. Three people die directly and dem abduct some others, including the pastor. It was pure panic!” Na so church services don turn to drama wey nobody fit explain.

The fresh attack come raise serious concerns for the community wey dey already face series of attacks in recent times. As police dey investigate, many people dey call for stronger security measures to protect them and mkpong of dem people wey no want another “party” like this happen again.
