‘TATU’, ‘Alter Ego’, ‘ISOKEN’, ‘POTATO POTATHO’, top AMVCA 2018 nomination list

Block office hits ‘TATU’, ‘Alter Ego’, ‘ISOKEN’, ‘POTATO POTATHO’, are leading the 2018 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) nomination list, released on Saturday.

The nominees were revealed by Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, Joselyn Dumas, and Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi through a syndicated broadcast on all Africa Magic channels.

‘TATU’ scored ten nominations including Best Lighting Designer, Best Supporting Actress, Best Makeup Artist, Best Art Director and Best Cinematographer.

It was also nominated for Best Director, Best Sound Editor, Best Soundtrack, Best Costume Designer and Best Movie West Africa.

‘Alter Ego’ got nine nominations including Best Overall Movie, Best Supporting Actress, Best Writer, Best Picture Editor and Best Cinematographer.

The thriller was also nominated for Best Actress, Best Director, Best Sound Editor, Best Actor in a Movie and Best Movie West Africa.

Meanwhile, ‘ISOKEN’ snagged six nominations including Best Supporting Actress, Best Art Director, Best Actress in a Comedy, Best Director, Best Costume Designer and Best Movie West Africa.

However, ‘Potato Potatho’ secured four nominations including Best Overall Movie, Best Costume Designer, Best Director and Best Movie West Africa.

Other multiple nominees include ‘Okafor’s Law’, ‘Banana Island Ghost’ ‘LOTANNA’ and ‘Hakunde’.
