    High delegation of Eritrea held bilateral talks with delegates from several countries

    On the sidelines of the 77th United Nations General Assembly, Eritrea's high-level delegation led by Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister for Foreign Affairs, has participated in several high-level meetings and held bilateral talks with delegates from several countries .

    In the meeting between Minister Osman Saleh and the People's Power Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Faria Torsoa, both parties discussed bilateral diplomatic relations, as well as cooperation and solidarity in multilateral forums; both sides also agreed to further deepen their consultations and expand relations.

    The high-level Eritrean delegation composed of Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Presidential Adviser, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, will participate in the 35th African Union Summit that will take place from February 2 to 6 in the Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.The 35th AU Summit takes place under the theme "Strengthening resilience in nutrition and food security on the African continent: Strengthening the agri-food system, health systems, and social protection to accelerate the development of capital human, social and economic.On the sidelines of the Summit, the Eritrean delegation met and held talks with representatives of African Union member states and organizations.During the bilateral meeting that Minister Osman Saleh held on February 3 with Ambassador Raychelle Omamo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, the two parties discussed focusing on the consolidation of bilateral ties between the two countries, and on the importance of coordinating efforts to promote peace, stability and development in the Horn of Africa.In the meeting that Minister Osman held with Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Foreign Community of Algeria, both Ministers discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and continental issues of mutual interest.

    Participants discussed the activity reports presented and adopted various recommendations.
