Switzerland continue impressive Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with convincing win over Israel

Switzerland have started the Euro 2024 qualifiers confidently, following up their 5-0 victory against Belarus with a 3-0 triumph over Israel. They secured six points from their first two games in Group I.

Ruben Vargas found the net to put Switzerland in front at halftime. Zeki Amdouni and Silvan Widmer scored two more goals soon after the break, taking their total to three. The match took place at the Geneva Stadium.

Vargas scored the opening goal in the 39th minute after the Israeli defence hesitated, allowing him to volley the ball past the goalkeeper.
