Ajimoko made the appeal while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria in Oye-Ekiti on Saturday.
The chairman urged the chairmen of the various drivers unions to always enlighten their members to be cautious while driving especially during the rainy period.
He advised them to always consider the condition of the roads before driving recklessly.
” It is no more news that the current rainy period has become a daily routine, causing waterlog and damage on few roads.
” I want to appeal to our commercial drivers to desist from reckless driving and save the lives of their passengers.
” It is always difficult to control people’s mind and intention, I want to appeal to all chairmen of the drivers unions to sensitise their members to the dangers of reckless driving in this raining period,” he said.
Ajimoko prayed that God would continue protect every commercial drivers and passengers till the end of the year.
