Nicola Coughlan Celebrates her Irish Roots
Feeling lucky! Nicola Coughlan, Lindsay Lohan, Prince William and Princess Kate are among the stars who celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in March 2023.
“Happy tell an Irish person you love them and think they’re perfect day!!!” Coughlan, 36, wrote via her Instagram Story alongside a selfie with a bearded leprechaun filter.
The Bridgerton star was born in Galway, Ireland and grew up in the nearby town of Oranmore.
Lindsay Lohan’s Festive Bowl of Green Veggies
Lohan, 36, for her part, was born in New York City but has Irish roots. The Mean Girls star celebrated the holiday with a festive bowl of green veggies.
“Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!” she wrote via her Instagram Story alongside a snap of the verdant meal. The Parent Trap actress is set to portray a bridesmaid at a wedding held in Ireland in the forthcoming Netflix film Irish Wish. A release date has not yet been announced.
Prince William and Princess Kate Join in the Celebration
Meanwhile, across the pond, William, 40, and Kate, 41, joined the Irish guards for their annual celebration in Aldershot, England. The Princess of Wales donned a teal Catherine Walker & Co. coat dress, a matching hat and heels and a shamrock brooch for the occasion.
The royal couple handed out shamrocks to soldiers and one Irish wolfhound, per ABC News.
Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended their first St. Patrick’s Day Parade since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The Dancing With the Stars pro made deviled eggs turned green with food coloring and rainbow waffles topped with whipped cream and Lucky Charms.
The Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen actress enjoyed some green veggies.
The sTORI TELLING author shared a snap of her son Beau, 6, dressed in all green.
“I’m feelin’ lucky! Happy St. Patrick’s Day 💚,” the Jolene songstress captioned an Instagram photo of herself smiling in a green dress and holding a guitar.
The “Thrift Shop” rapper shared a photo with his “good luck charm” — wife Tricia Davis — to wish his Instagram followers a happy St. Patrick’s Day and promote one of her South by Southwest performances.

The Bachelor Nation alum whipped up a batch of Lucky Charms cereal bars, calling the recipe her 9-year-old daughter Charlie’s “favorite thing that we make every year” in her Instagram caption.
The Almost Famous actress wished her stepdad a happy birthday via Instagram.
